I am a registered occupational therapist with more than 25 years’ experience working in community mental health and wellbeing. In that time, I have been able to support people who have experienced anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, chronic stress, grief and loss, trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety at school and in employment. Alongside my 1:1 sessions, I also host some of the Fresh Minds webinars.
I am able to offer a variety of approaches, so sessions can be flexible to meet the client’s needs including ACT, DBT, CBT, Te Whare Tapa Whā, Sensory Modulation and Polyvagal theory.
I am passionate about working with people using a practical solution-focused approach. Working together, using your own expertise and resilience, we can explore strategies to support you to move towards doing the things that really matter to you.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and relaxing watching my favourite programmes. I am also focused on my own wellbeing and trying out new things and currently I am enjoying going to my gym classes, attending a local yoga class, and practicing my breathing techniques.
