I am a New Zealand registered Psychologist with specialised training in Health Psychology.
I’m passionate about supporting and empowering people to help them navigate life’s challenges and move towards living more of the life they desire.
I have experience working with stress and burnout, anxiety, low mood and depression, trauma, managing health-related challenges and chronic illnesses, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and improving general wellbeing.
As a therapist, I aim to create a supportive environment to help people better understand themselves and to develop their range of coping skills. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic models, which I tailor in response to clients’ needs and goals. I am experienced in the use of; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-focused therapy, neurobiological approaches, mindfulness and self-compassion.
